Westman Atelier Blushes and Highlighter Stick Products

After trying it for a little bit over a year, I think I am ready to talk about this product. At the beginning I was a bit skeptical in trying this product as my combination skin does not really like makeup products that are too emollient. However, oh boy! Am I glad to try Westman Atelier blushes and Highlighters.. I adore her line, they are very easy to use/blend, very versatile (you can use it for cheeks, lips and sometimes I put on my lid as well), the color story is beautiful and most importantly, they are fairly clean products.. as I think they only way to get cleaner than this, would be not wearing any makeup =)

Baby Cheeks Blush Stick:

Dou Dou - Warm Rose (in mini)

This is the first Westman Atelier product that I got (along with highlighter stick and contour stick – they come in a set). At first, I don’t have any ‘wow’ feeling wearing it, however, the more I wear it, the more I like it as it gives me a bit of a ‘sunburnt’ look, especially when you tap it on the bridge of your nose. The application is a bit scary in the beginning, but once you keep wearing it, it’s very easy, fool-proof usage because it is very blendable. The stay-power is medium I would say, it does not stay more than 6 hours I would say, you just have to reapply.

Minette - Luminous Peach

I have been going crazy with this shade during last winter/early spring. It gives my cheek a very luminous subtle glow with a hint of iridescence. It gives me a soft glow, the shade is not too obvious because I have a more medium, yellow-base complexion, but I like it, it really a literal meaning to barely-there makeup.
Petal - Dusty Nude Rose (in Limited Edition Packaging)
I got this from a ‘Petal edition’ set, I like it, however, the shade is almost similar to Dou Dou on my medium skin so not too crazy. It is said that this is one of their most famous shade and I can see why. It is very versatile and match different skin colors.

Poppet - Poppy Pink

This shade is the latest edition added into my WA collection. Honestly, it was intimidating at the beginning and wasn’t sure of how bright fuschia pink is going to look like on my medium warm skin. But, come to my surprise it looks incredible, I think because the formula is emollient, the color opacity can be controlled easily and beautifully blended into your skin.
** They just released two new shades as of May 2024 – yet to try those.

Lit Up Highlight Stick:

Nectar - Glassy golden peach

This is the very first product that persuades me in trying Westman Atelier product. I was obsessed with Highlighter back then, however, it’s a bit difficult to find a product that is glossy but in a ‘not-dramatic’ kinda way and this product has a lot to offer. It adheres to your skin like a veil of beautiful gloss that got even glossier when a certain light hits the angle of your cheekbone. It is a show-stopper for me, it is what I have been searching for, a highlighter that comes together to your skin and shows like it’s part of your skin and not a makeup. STUNNING!!

Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm:

Petal - Dusty Nude Rose (in Limited Edition Packaging)

I got his as part of a limited edition set. I am not a big lipstick product so I figure this one can be put as a replacement for that. And I am not surprise, the formula is moisturizing and it last quite a bit (that being said, the texture a bit stick for me – I notice this might be the attribute that usually comes hand-in-hand with any long-lasting lip products), it feels like giving your lips a spa treatment and of course the shade is so beautiful, gives your lips a healthy pink gloss. It is a beautiful neutral pink color that has buildable opacity, the gloss is so beautiful and it comes with many shades as well.
